Bestfriends?

I have liked my bestfriend for over a year. His name is Adam. We are both in the 8th grade. Earlyer in the year we stayed after band to look for his mouth peice. We were in the band closet and when I turned around he was right there. He put his hands on my waist and was barly an inch from my face when I said it was time to go to class. That night we were texting about how much we wanted to kiss then and I regreted stoping him. I found out he liked another girl. He didnt even like me. Well we got in a huge fight because the girl he liked said I was just jealous and they would talk about me behind my back. I said I didnt want to be friends anymore. He is always saying sorry but I just cant be his friend.When I told him he cried. I still miss him. I try to act alright around him and I always flirt with boys when he's around. I can tell it bugs him. He always stares at me when I do. But I still love him, alot. But I can never have him. He will always be the bestfriend I've ever had.
