best buy

i have not dealt with best buy for about 5 years. every time i used to buy things for my pc, i would pay double for the item. then i would get a mail in rebate, and a rebate slip. i cut the upc off the package, mail the rebate form in, along with the upc. (proof of purchase). i have never received my money back from the manufacturer. something was always wrong. therefore i was actually paying double for an item at best buy whereas i could have bought it locally for one third the price. if you are smart you will not deal with best buy.(my opinion).
