Being too drunk

Okay, not really a confession but I should've started a new job this morning but last night, my younger brother and myself went to the pub for a little summer refreshment. Everything was okay until we discovered an ale called 'Hobgoblin'. This is a proper cask ale with a chocolatey aroma and a very nice but mild nutty taste. I don't remember much after that but I had to call my new employer and tell them I had a dodgy stomach this morning, which is sort of true, and won't be able to come to work until tomorrow. They said due to health and saftey issues I'll have to wait until next Monday. Crap. Now I have a week with no work or money coming in. Why am I so stupid?
