WHY, before every broadcast must the BBC make us watch people tap dancing, or salsa dancing, or some other form of dancing? Or an Australian rugby team chanting? Can't they just anounce the next programme, trusting that our attention spans will sustain us through the 10 second stretch of arid wasteland until the next item begins?? Do they fear that in that dark interlude between entertainment we will fall into some emotional hole so deep that we will either try to jump from the nearest window, or even...CHANGE CHANNEL?? What the f*!k is going on??!
