Bank of America unauthorized debit to account

Company contacted me to give me a $5000 dollar limit credit card. Did not send a anything. Contacted BOA and they gave me my $199 back in August '03. But this same company around October sends me a postcard 'hoping' that I was happy with my recent purchase. I immediately contacted BOA before the debit went through and was told not to worry and besides we will handle this if it becomes a problem. Well the fraudulent company debited $199. BOA's stance is that I had given them my financial information and too bad. BOA made atleast 2 mistakes: 1. they did not have me change my account # after the first debit and 2. did not take my proactive concerns seriously before the second debit occured. This bogus company was Moonlight Marketing. I think a credit card company sold my information to them. And I unwittingly got soaked for $199. I am contemplating getting my name taken off these telemarketing lists that the 3 credit bureaus and other companies prosper off of. Then someone rifling through your mail can't get credit in my name as well as cold calling crooks after my money.
