This company displays items that are of out of stock. They don't care if their customers get their products. I ordered a Halloween costume (a dress and a hat). They only shipped the dress and they were apathetic at the fact that I didn't get the hat. To make matters worse, this happened a week before Halloween. I shop online because I am extremely busy. If you don't want to be disappointed, don't shop here. Their service is horrible. This is the correspondence between me and babygirlboutique.com: Dear Babygirlboutique.com I just received my costume and I am extremely upset because I did not receive the Fedora hat that I paid for. Halloween is next week and I had to order from a different website for the hat. Due to limitfed time, I had to pay an extra fee for the shipping (from another website) to get my hat in time for Halloween. If you were out of the hat, your website should have mentioned it. In addition, I did not receive anything that shows that my money (for the fedora hat) will be refunded. I don't understand how you can run a legitimate business without notifying your customers about problems. I demand that you refund my money right away. The page on which you bought the fedora hat had this text on it in bold red letters: 'Most items are shipped within 5 to 15 business days. ( Items can take longer. Our distributors will occasionally go out of stock on some items. ) ' We take pains to go through every single product page on our site and specify whether the item is in stock and available for immediate delivery or whether there is a wait period of up to 15 days for the item to be delivered. And we disclaim the fact that we can always get all items from our manufacturers no matter what. It is up to the customer to purchase and shop according to this information. Many customer s choose not to read when they shop and that is their call. We are sorry to hear you are so disappointed with your experience. We'd like to do anything we could to make it right but I am not sure what that woukd be in your case as you sound extremely upset. perhaps it would just be best for you to return the costume for a full refund and, of course, we will also credit you your return shipping expense.
