i recently tried a spray on (Mist-On) tan at South Beach Tanning @ Spa located inside Empress Walk in North York (Toronto). The girls there were enthusiastic about the product and boasted how it was way better than the Mystic Tan, which as been around longer. I was convinced. I had applied a small sticker before stepping into the booth, for fashion and to also gauge how tanned i would be. I did speak to the front desk about how light the tan seemed but they reassured me the tan would darken in the folowing hours. the next morning, i noticed the colour had not changed. i was a little bit disappointed. well, imagine how upset i was to see the little colour i did have wash right off in the shower!! i went back to to the salon to complain and now, three weeks later, i am still trying to get my money back or at least some kind of compensation. my biggest complaint is the terrible customer service provided by the ghetto girl working the desk and the manager. they were unwilling to admit there might have been a problem on their end but put blame on my type of skin!!! they also compared the service to getting a bad meal at a restaurant -- that even if you dont like the food, you still have to pay. well, at least you get food!! what did i pay $30 for? no tan, only a mouthy receptionist lacking english speaking skills.
