Bad cops

While riding my bike I was hit by a Truck. The cop on the scene, did not take my statement. As I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. When she got to the hospital she told me that it was my fault. She did not even listen. The place I was riding was down a busy street, so I choose to ride on the sidewalk as the card ride in the bike lane. I am a very careful person. Three blocks earlier I made a cop car backup before I crossed at the cross walk as the cop car was over the intersection. Thus my complaint or bicycles be ware.. I was riding on the sidewalk. The Truck waived me to go then pulled throu the stop sign and hit me.. According to the COP I should not ride on the sidewalk, or if you do you must get off and walk your bike at every intersection, that include driveways, Also if you do choose to ride on the sidewalk you must ride with the traffic. SO DON'T Trust the autos on the street because if they hit you on your bike it is your fault. I now have a loaner bike and ride a different way on the street and get off and walk the bike across the major intersections, I still have auto pullout in front of me. So I have learned to tell them off.. I wished we had more bike trails here so I could enjoy my ride. AS I am trying to save not only the enverment I also can't afford gas.. So toget to work I ride the bike. I have a health problem so riding tha bike is hard, as a result I ride real slow.. I have bike pass me on the trail all the time and even a joger or two, that was why I was riding on the sidewalk, slow now even slower. I am out a $400. bike and have bills to pay. and the driver who hit me is off having a good time..
