Autoglass

I locked my car keys in my boot and had no spare, so the only thing I could do as I had to use my vehicle that night was to smash a window. I called Autoglass to ask the what the prices of the windows were and was advised that the passenger and rear quarter windows were a similar price around £136 approx incl. fitting providing I drove the car to them. I then broke the rear quarter window and was able to access the vehicle and get my keys. I called Autoglass the next morning to make a booking with customer service and spoke to an advisor, he asked whether I had already been offered a discount, I said I had, he then quoted me a price of £500+! I advised this is not possible as I had been told that it would only be £130 approx. The advisor then went onto say is colleague must have quoted for the wrong window, I said that was not possible as I asked for the prices of both. the advisor then knocked 20% off the prices, then when I spoke to the supervisor the offered a further 10% bring the price to £316. I called the dealership to ask their price for the part £68! I had the window fitted for free as it was a bolt on! Beware Autoglass they are over charging us!
