My name is Michelle and I took my SUV to New River Transmission in South Carolina. I was told I needed a transmision. I gave them the okay to fix my SUV. They had my SUV for 6 weeks. They brought it back to me with grease everywhere. The front seats were covered in grease. The console was now even put back in the proper spot and tighten up. They unloaded my SUV in the driveway. I went to start it and it would not start. The gear shift was not correct. When you put it in drive it did not read drive and you could pull on it and it would back the SUV up. They came and picked it up again. They brought it back. Still not fixed. They did not even put the cover underneath the transmission back on. Till this day I still do not have what belongs to the SUV and my SUV shakes so bad. They decided they could not please me or repair my SUV back to the way it should be so they gave me my money back. I took my SUV to someone else to get the shifting back the way it was and the repair people fixed that problem for me. As far as my part that should be on my SUV that my transmission sits on and it protects it the New River Transmission has it. To this date my transmission roars and shakes my SUV. I feel I have still be riped off even though they gave my money back. My Suv is in worst shape then is was when I took it to them. I have tried to overlook this nightmare but now that my problem has gotten even worst and no my transmission shakes my whole SUV, I feel everyone should know about this company and I feel now I have no choose but to file a civil suit and have my SUV repaired the right way. I feel leaving my SUv in the condition they did was wrong and even leaving parts off is very bad situation. I feel that all consumers need to know about this company and I intend to let everyone know about my problem until this repair shop pays someone to put my SUV back right!!!!! M.Allison

This vehicle was repaired in 2006. The vehicle was returned to my shop twice for problems that were not related to the repair of the transmission. The engine had problems the exhaust had problems and the rear end had problems. As far as her complaining about the length of time, we recieved the vehicle on 02-10-2006 and she picked it up 02-22-2006. We never did anything on the inside of the vehicle so I have no clue what she is referring to. Further more this post was posted in 2012 6 years after we refunded her money. I did not refund her money because the vehile could not be repaired, I refunded her money because I wanted her to go away. I find it strange she has had it to other shops and no where does she mention that they had to reinstall or repair the transmission that I installed. Sounds to me like you still need a drive shaft like I told you in 2006. Use the 1075.00 dollars I refunded to you to fix it. John Murphy
