American Home Trust

I ordered a kit from an ad in USA today which would have hooked me up with American Home Trust in order to do home loans for people with very poor credit, or foreign nationals. Simply trying to do my due diligence on this company, I could not get one shred of evidence (or even courteous treatment!) about how old their company is, how many deals they've done, etc. I reached a brick wall. I called and emailed the person who sold me the information, John Sacco, only to be told that because of the 'nature of my questions' he could tell I would not do well in this business (I was only trying to find out the company's history -- can't very well advertise and not be able to tell potential clients, 'Gee, I don't know how long this company that you're going to send $20,000 to has been in business), and that he would refund my money. I emailed him again. No response. I tried calling AMT directly, got a very rude gentleman who told me I'd have to deal with Mr. Sacco. So, no dice. I don't understand why they are unwilling to share basic information, but they are, and they're very rude about it to.
