AMC -payoff higher than balance on house

We tried to refinance, at which time AMC had changed their name, and wanted to charge over $10,000, plus the payoff of around $127,000, at which time, we decided to go to the Governor's Office for the State of ____. After getting Government Officials INVOLVED, THINGS CHANGED. They WERE GLAD to cooperate. The Governor's Office wanted to CALL AMC for me. After working so many years of legal, I learned anytime you have a problem with a Company/Corporation, ALWAYS GO TO THE CEO/PRESIDENT. He/She can make decisions that NO ONE ELSE can make. If you speak to anyone else, they say: 'OH, I JUST WORK HERE!' And do not HAVE THE AUTHORITY to assist you as needed. Well, we refinanced with GMAC located in a different STATE, paid first payment and doing well. I ran into a business owner that has done absolutely the same thing I have done. After going to Government Officials, we inquired about Ameriquest (AMC) not doing business in this state. Thank you and HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!
