Am I fucked in the head? Need advice!

I am independent adult woman. I was always mature and well rounded as a child and even as a teen. I have been happily engaged for almost 2 years. But for some odd reason I can't sleep at night until my fiancé treats me like a child. Like full on, tucking me in, kissing my forehead, handing me a stuffed animal to cuddle with and sometimes even reading to me until I fall asleep. He enjoys doing it because he thinks its cute and fun. But I honestly don't know what it is. I asked him not to for a few days to see what would happen, and I didn't sleep for 3 days straight! Can someone help me out? Can someone tell me why I feel the urge to feel like a little girl? Can someone tell me I'm not crazy or weird? =/

Actually, I have never had daddy problems. My childhood was fine and I still have a fine relationship with my parents.
