I'm too much of a coward to ask girls out even if I know they like me too but by the time I work up the confidence to ask the girl out she loses intrest, god dam I hate myself

Just go ahead and do it. And do it multiple times. You'll eventually get your style of approach down and may just find someone perfect for you. You just have to work past your fear. Believe me even the most beautiful women have self-doubts about one thing or another.

Just need to take a step outside of the comfort zone. It gets easier each time. It also becomes less important once you've experienced it.
