We booked 4 tickets to Europe from the US. One of the parties could not make it. Airfare.com only allows changes by fax. They don't even have a cancellation form as they state no one has ever had to cancel a flight. They asked me to modify one of their forms and give them a credit card number so they can charge me $450.00 to cancel (which is more than 50% of the cost of the ticket). They stated that they would credit some of the ticket but that is where things really get shady. After I faxed Airfare.com my credit card info they have refused to give me any information as to whether they received it or if they will process some credit. Airfare.com employees refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor. I have called at least 6 times and they continually change stories stating that any type of credit can take 4 weeks and up to 12 months. So far I am out over $1317.61 for 1 ticket.
