ahs insurance is a fraud and refuses to pay. DO NOT USE THEM. BAD BUSINESS AFTER SENDING THEM INVOICES THAT SUBSTANTIATED FAULTY DUCTS THEY REFUSED TO PAY. EVEN AFTER SENDING THEM THE INVOICE THAT STATED AIR RITE AIRCONDITOIN AND HEATING NOTED A PROBLEM THEY SENT ME A LETTER STATING THAT AIR RITE SAID THERE WAS NOTING WRONG. AHS REFUSED TO PAY. I HAVE A TOILET THAT RUNS CONSTANTLY AND A BATH ROOM SINK THAT IS SLOW DRAINING AND A TUB WITH A SUSPECTED HOLE IN IT AND A DRYER THAT NEEDS A NEW LINT FILTER AND THE DOOR WILL NOT STAY CLOSED. I CALLED FOR SERVICE, BUT REQUESTED THAT I BEALLOWED TOTALK WITH THE PLUMBER BEFORE THEY SENT HIM OUT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AGREED AND GAVE ME THE PHONE NUMBER OF THE PLUMBER. WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE TALKING WITH THE PLUMBER WHO TOLD ME THAT HE DID NOT DO STOPPAGES FOR (ahs) AMERICAN HOME SHIELD HOME INSURANCE COMPANY, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD JUST RECEIVED A FAX FROM AHS. I CALLED AHS AND CANCELLED THE REQUEST. HAD I NOT DONE THIS I WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY THE $55 SERVICE FEE TO A PLUMBER THAT DID NOT DO THE WORK REQUESTED. I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO SEND MY REQUEST BY FAX TO A FAX NUMBER PROVIDED BY THE ACCOUNTING DEPT. AND IT HAS BEEN BUSY SINCE JUNE 22ND. I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO SEND IT BY E MAIL THIS MORNING AND WAS TOLD I SHOULD CHECK MY E MAIL THAT THEY HAD SENT ME AN EMAIL, BUT THERE IS NO E MAIL. I WILL CALL THEM AS SOON AS I COMPLETE THIS. I HAVE DISCOVERED MANY COMPLAINTS ON THE WEB SINCE ATTEMPTING TO DO THE E MAIL AND IT LOOKS LIKE THIS COMPANY IS NOT GOOD.EVERY TIME THAT I HAVE CALLED THEY ATTEMPT TOSEND A PLUMBER THAT IS AT LEAST 45 MINUTES FORM MY HOME AND MORE ACCORDING TO TRAFFIC. THEY DID HAVE A PLUMBER IN A CITY THAT IS 15 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOME AND THEY ARE THE ONES THAT SAID THEY DID NOT DO STOPPAGES FOR AHS. THAT IS STRANGE, BUT THIS COMPANY, JAY INDECK SAID IT WAS THE OWNERS' CHOICE NOT TO DO THE STOPPAGES AND SUGGESTED THAT I CONTACT A PLUMBER THAT DID ALL THE SERVICES THAT I NEEDED TO AVOID PAYING THE $55 SERVICE FEE TWO TIMES. AHS SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THE COMANY DID NOT DO THIS FOR THEM AND REFERRED ME TO ONE THAT DID. THAT WAS NOT FAIR.
