The only thing that I can say about Afterhours Formal wear that they did correctly was they spelled their name right on the door. Beyond that it has been a nightmare dealing with just about every aspect of this miserable excuse for a company. Each and every single detail of the tuxes was incorrect. The wrong sizes, the wrong styles, the wrong shoe sizes, the wrong accesories, everyone in my bridal party was charged an arbitrary amount. When I (the groom) went in for my final pick up the shirt was a 4XT(I stand 5'06 and weigh 195 pounds), I understand that I could lose a few pounds but that's absurd. I paid extra to have matching mother-of-pearl button cover and studs but they didn't have them and when I asked about it they said that since I had ordered (and paid for) them a year ago, that they were no longer in stock. When asked what I should do about it I was told 'well, if you don't want to wear the long necktie (also which I specifically said I don't like the look of a long tie with a tux) then that's your problem not mine.' My best man was given a shirt 2 sizes too big (and he's a big boy of about 370 pounds) and pants too short. One of my groomsmen went back just after picking his up when I called him and told him that I ordered bowties, not long neckties, and he was told it was too late to change the order and that if he didn't leave the store while he was placing his complaint, that they would call the police and have him arrested. He wasn't yelling or being rude or anything. They told him that they don't handle complaints in the store and that he could call the district manager and leave a message. Finally after the wedding and everything was returned I get a notification in the mail from a collection agency saying that I owe $167.34. I didn't even have to pay for my tux and now I'm being sent to a collection agency?!?!? I went back to the store and they told me that they see no reason for me getting that notice and to ignore it. I called the collection agency and they told me that if I don't pay it that they would report it to my credit. I called the corporate office in Pennsylvania and was taken through that automated service from hell and finally ended up hanging up in disgust after 15 minutes of listening to the same elevator music and an automated voice telling me how important I am to them. I called another corporate number and after being bounced from voicemail to voicemail I finally got a receptionist to tell me that it is corporate policy not to take direct calls but to have me leave a message and they would call me back within 5 to 7 business days. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING WHATSOEVER.
