I decided to try one of those work at home affiliate programs. After having read about numerous opportunities, I narrowed it down to just a few and of course I read all the testimonials telling you how easy it is and how much money you can make. I got a call from AssurancePlus,a website & marketing firm and within a week I had invested over three thousand dollars. They design and host the website for you and all you do is check your site or sites to see how much money you're making! For a sum of money you are guaranteed a number of clicks or hits on your sites and if you don't at least recover your initial investment they will refund your money. I'm beginning to believe this may be a scam as I've had over two thousand hits with no sales. Numerous emails and phone calls have not been returned and if you do talk to someone you're told to give it time and not to worry. I hope they're on the level but I've got a real bad feeling about this one. I would advise anyone contemplating a homebased business to thoroughly check the company's credentials.Don't take their word for it.
