I am addicted to my daughter’s cough medicine. She was placed on it last summer but she got better after a little while. Around then, I was having trouble sleeping and I remembered her doctor said the drug would make her drowsy. So, I tried a few drops and they worked. I slept like a babe. But even after I didn’t need the medicine to sleep, I discovered I had developed a taste for it. I still go for a refill since it’s a prescription drug and the doctor never seemed to mind that “my daughter” was still having the cough. Maybe he knows but I’m not telling anyone.
