AAA is not worth it

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction because of two distinct incidents. 1.) After calling AAA earlier this year because I was stranded after someone stole my car keys, I waited for almost three hours for a tow truck before giving up (after calling several times and being told each time it would be another hour before I could get a tow truck) and calling my husband away from a work function to come pick me up. Why am I paying for plus service if I cannot get a tow truck within a couple hours? I could have taken a cab home several times over and picked up my car the next day, but I wanted to use the service I paid for. 2.) I went into the Bolingbrook, IL store personally on or about July 31 to order a triptik and maps for a trip to Lopatcong, NJ and was told it would be sent in the mail within 4 business days. I have still never received the triptik or maps for the trip that already occurred. Please respond to my concerns. My membership is coming up for renewal, and I am finding it difficult to see the benefit in keeping AAA when the only two times I required assistance, I was neglected. Regards.
