A little scared

In 1990 my father passed at the age of 57. He had a clogged artery and the did an angioplasty which was successful. This was in Oct of 91. During a follow up xray in Nov, the next month, they found a spot on his lung. he was diagnosed with lung cancer and died the following july. I am 57 now, I just got called by my cardiologist, he said tests show you have a blocked artery and need an angioplasty. I am 57, the same age, and its happening the same month as my dads. I am a bit freaked out at the coincidence of all this. tell me I am nuts.

If it happens it happens we all have to die sometime, And as one who has met the reaper three times i can tell you there is nothing to be scared of at all, It's just a question of realizing your mortality and accepting it, The only reason i am still alive is my time is not up yet but it will be someday untill then i have no fear of it at all and therein lies the trick not having fear of it.

Pray about it...and have faith everything will be okay. You're not your father..
