Hurting like hell over a liar

I've been in a no-strings attached relationship with a man for 7 years, I fell in love with him, in a strange way I think he fell for me also, but he's married and seperated from his wife. I met him online and on his profile it said he was single but in conversation about a year later he mentioned that his wife whom he's seperated from is also dating. I broke up with him because I swore I won't date any married men, but I later started dating him again, now 7 years later I'm still dating him. Earlier this week he told me something about his neighbor calling him a nigger lover and telling someone that he's going to shoot him, but yet he didn't go to the police. I know for a fact that his 28yr. old pregidous daughter moved in with him after she pushed her grand mother down and breaking her collar bone and fracturing her wrist, but he don't want me to think that he chose his daughter over me so he lied about his neighbor so that I won't come to his house until she finds he own place, I don't believe the story about his neighbor, I should have known that he's a liar and that I caught him in more than 1 lie before. when I told him that I didn't believe him he tried to flip the story saying he was protecting me. After telling him that I don't believe him he said we need to take a break from each other and I agreed, but I know it's over between us and even though I'm hurting like hell right now I know that if he tries to resume our dead end relationship I'm never going back with him.
